Project: Environmental Management

Project:  Environmental Management System (EMS) Support
Client:  Tullow Oil PLC / CARES Group Ltd

The project contributed to Tullow Ghana's successful ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certification, through the identification of environmental aspects and environmental impacts to form an Aspects Register.  The Aspects Register is one of the key documents required for ISO 14001 certification.

Aspects and impacts were identified through working with staff throughout the Ghana operations, reviewing available documents and site meetings to see operations in progress. The Aspects Register included the activities of all departments, including drilling, the FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading), the Shorebase operations and Head Office. In addition to the Aspects Register, further necessary EMS documentation was developed to support that already developed by the EHS Team; Tullow Ghana was certified ISO14001 compliant as a result.
